Foison
n. 1) rich harvest 2) plenty 3) abundance [Archaic]
"That from the seedness the bare fallow brings to teeming foison."
As I've traveled around, I've photographed a lot of things from the mundane to the peculiar (or as Johnny Carson would say, "wild, wierd, wacky stuff").
I guess it all started when I was driving through my home state of New Mexico and noticed
a big chicken on a roof. A little further down the road, I could see
that someone was trying to build a skyscraper in his back yard. Then
the next day I woke up to discover a gingerbread house floating above
my back yard!
Realizing that I was in need of a vacation, I went to the west coast where I saw an
odd-looking house in California. I continued on to Seattle,
home of the world-famous toe truck and the amazing
flying car. I also came across a
pink elephant and some interesting street corners
along the way.
Eventually I settled down in Denver, the home of Mr. Bill, the
giant soccer ball, big pointy things, and
the horse on a chair.
Not to be outdone, Albuquerque put a chevy on a stick.
I bought one of those widescreen TV's so I can watch two shows at a time!
When I drive from Denver to Albuquerque, I like to take the "back way". You see
interesting things, such as the Big Hot Dog, Two Mile High Field and the
UFO Watchtower.
The world's largest light switch is under construction.
While you're here, be sure to see the cats and
squirrels and lions and
tigers and bears (oh my!).
Not to mention the big cow.
And last but not least, please visit the web's most annoying page!
Gotta go now, I've got a meeting.
